Lee, Annie

ANNIE LEE attended the American Academy of Art from 1974 to 1977 and
from 1985 to 1986. Annie Lee is best known for being a leading figure in
African American art. Ms. Lee’s paintings of African American family life
are sold throughout the U.S. and Europe. She also sells a full line of
Annie Lee licensed products including: paperweights, plaques, artwork,
magnets, Sass’n Class, Christmas ornaments and many more collectible
items. Her works are currently shown on episodes of the hit shows ER and
Hanging with Mr. Copper, and previously have been seen on Bill Cosby’s
spin-off show A Different World, Marla Gibbs’ 227, Sherman Helms ley’s
Amen, and in Eddie Murphy’s movies Coming to America and Boomerang. To
