Tobias, John

JOHN TOBIAS attended the American Academy of Art from 1987 to 1989,
receiving his degree in 1989. Tobias is best known as the creator of the
wildly popular video game series Mortal Combat for Chicago-based Midway
Games. After leaving Midway, Tobias formed hi own company, Studio Gigante
where he created the games Too Feng: Fist of the Lotus and WWE
Wrestlemania 21. As owner of his own studio, John has employed several
graduates of the Academy over the years. He was also guest speaker at the
2004 graduation ceremony.
