Chris Cosnowski currently teaches Oil Painting at the American Academy of Art. Previously, Chris taught at Northwestern University in the Continuing Education Program and at Triton College in River Grove, Illinois

Chris received a B.F.A. from the Columbus College of Art and Design, and completed an M.F.A. from Northwestern University.

His work has been featured in New American Paintings, Midwest Edition (2001) and in Spotlight on Chicago Artists (2004).

In 2000, Chris was awarded a Finalist Award by the Illinois Arts Council.
