Engle, TinaFine Art, GraduateFine Artist Tina Engle joined the faculty at the American Academy of Art in 1999. She currently teaches Fundamentals of Art and Art History. She previously taught at Barnstone Studios in Pennsylvania among other schools. She has been honored with awards from Boston University (Performance Award) and the University of North Carolina (Holderness Fellowship and Howard Scholarship.) Her work is currently held in various private collections. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including C.A.A. College Arts and the Guild of Scientific Illustrators. Ms. Engle holds a B.F.A. from Boston University and an M.F.A. from the University of North Carolina. She previously studied at the Frudakis Academy in Philadelphia with Isabel McIlvain and John Wilson. She was recently accepted by the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business to participate in a “Leadership in Teaching Excellence” Seminar.
