Who should attend the Academy's Financial Aid Workshop?
New students who are registered to start classes in September 2017 along with their parents or legal guardians.
Why you will want to attend the Academy’s Financial Aid Workshop...
Financial Aid - The financial aid process can be involved but beneficial. To help you through the process, the Academy will have staff on-hand and computers available to help you with:
Completion and submission of your FAFSA.
Corrections to your FAFSA which may be required for verification of your financial aid eligibility.
Completion of your Financial Aid forms.
To make the best use of your time at the workshop, it would be beneficial for you to attempt to complete your Financial Aid forms in advance and bring the completed forms with you that day. We will review your forms for any required changes and answer any specific questions that you may have.

Bring the following information and documents with you to the workshop as they are essential to completing and/or updating your FAFSA:
Federal Student Aid ID. (Visit http://fsaid.ed.gov to create a username and password. It is important that both the student and parent have their own Federal Student Aid ID prior to starting the FAFSA.)
Student and parent Social Security number.
Student driver’s license number (if applicable).
Student and parent date of birth.
Student Alien Registration Card (if not a U.S. citizen).
Parent’s marital status (month and year).
Income amounts: 2015 federal tax returns, W-2 forms, and any applicable income tax documents.
Records of untaxed income or benefits received in 2015 which may include: child support paid and/or received, Supplemental Social Security Disability, or Veterans non-education benefits.
Information on cash, savings and checking account balances; investments; and business and farm assets (if applicable).
